Description
2023 Double L Eliminator 5720
Naming our machines dirt eliminators doesn't accurately describe their versatility in product separation. If we were being pedantic, we'd call our machines dirt-vine-weed-rock-clod-corn-trash eliminators. That's quite a mouthful. Dirt eliminators just rolls off the tongue a lot easier.
Eliminators are necessary because, frankly, no one wants to pay for dirt and foreign material with their potatoes. Everyone you sell to is getting pickier by the year about product quality. Seasons of field tests have proven that Double L's eliminators are effective against all forms of foreign material. Their cleaning ability doesn't compromise other important factors like bruising or peeling. They are truly the best all-around cleaning machine on the market.
Features may include:
-
HOPPER ROLL TABLE
Why wait to start cleaning your product? The optional hopper roll table – made up of 10 polyurethane star rollers – excels at sifting out loose dirt and field trash. It also maximizes the eliminator's effectiveness by spreading your product out across the width of the machine -
STINGER POWER AND MOUNTS
Transporting an eliminator with attached stingers was once quite the undertaking. Now it couldn't be easier. All of the height adjustments on Double L's stinger mounts are hydraulically controlled. A fewer lever flips separate the stingers, hopper bowl, and tare conveyor from each other to prevent damage in transit. -
FIELD SERVICE LIGHTS
LED lighting is all the rage these days. It consumes less power, shines brighter, and lasts longer than fluorescent lighting. It's more than adequate to keep your operation running optimally both day and night. -
ELEVATOR SPEED CONTROL
Eliminators and sports cars have one thing in common: the best results are only achieved when you're in control of the speed. The elevator can be controlled independently of the other sections of the machine. Dial it in as fast or slow as your product requires. -
QUICK ADJUST
Quick Adjust roll tables can come in either a cleaning or sizing variety. Their quick adjustment feature controls the spacing between each roller. By toggling a hydraulic lever, eliminator operators have an easy way to set how much foreign material or smaller product is sifted or sized out of your product flow. -
GALAXY STAR TABLE
The Galaxy Cleaning Table was aptly named. As may as 784 polyurethane stars spread across the 14-shaft table make up its cleaning surface. Counter-rotating shafts are strategically placed throughout the table and create pinch points to catch and sift out vines and weeds. -
SCRUBBER ROLL TABLE
Think of a scrubber table as a Galaxy table with two key differences. The scrubber table works without counter-rotating shafts, and the star rollers stagger up or down from each other -
BUNK BED STAR TABLE
A cleaning table's effectiveness depends on the ability of foreign material to fall through it. Dirty loads or heavier soil may clog a table, but that's where the Bunk Bed table comes in. Two over-under tables of 6-finger polyurethane stars make up the Bunk Bed table. The top table cleans your product. The bottom table cleans the cleaning table. Working together, they ensure that the most dirt will be separated from your product. -
MULTIPLE INLINE TABLES
Every category of cleaning table has its strengths and weaknesses. With more than one inline table, you get less compromise and more cleaning. -
MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS
Cleaning rollers are made up of seven- and/or thirteen-finger polyurethane stars. Seven-finger stars are more aggressive in sifting out foreign material. Thirteen-finger stars convey product more gently but don't allow as much tare to fall through the table. Choose from several variations to configure your table. -
TABLE SPEED CONTROL
Control is the key to balancing cleaning intensity and product throughput. For dirtier product loads, slowing down the table can help sift out more foreign material. For cleaner loads, speeding up the table can shorten truck unload times and boost product throughput. -
TABLE PITCH CONTROL
Bouncing product can be a negative side effect of speeding up a cleaning table. Rather than risk product damage, use gravity to run clean loads over the table quickly. Operators can tilt the cleaning table down by as much as 4.7 degrees. The downward slope of the table gently slides product onto the pick table. -
FULL-LENGTH TARE CIRCUIT
Having a clean product shouldn't come at the expense of a clean storage or transload site. Tare that is sifted out by Double L's eliminators is caught by their full-length tare conveyors. Tare conveyors carry away and manage foreign material to keep your handling site clean.
