DW50 Wheel Dumper: Optimized for maximum safety and performance
An optimized skip format for even greater water volume and minimized risk of damage when loading and unloading with the excavator bucket, as well as a variety of details that clearly make it outstanding in terms of comfort and safety, make up the DW50. The operator benefits from many storage options, some also lockable, and safety features such as cameras in both directions, rear LED lights incl. dynamic turn signals as well as cruise control and a large clear display. This makes safe work fun.
Features May Include:
Seat belt monitoring
- Safety is greatly emphasized. For this reason, seat belt monitoring too is indispensable. The operator must first be seated and then buckle up to be able to start the machine. Unsafe startup is thus ruled out and safety for the operator is ensured.
Sturdy skip guard
- The skip guard protects the operator and the cab from falling material, even while driving.
- It provides for additional safety even during loading. The protective skip grating was designed and tested for this, based on ISO 10262, front protective grating Level 2.
- The skip guard can withstand the impact of an excavator bucket with the maximum force of a 15-metric ton excavator.
Rear LED lights incl. dynamic turn signals
- The rear LED lights are recognizable even from a distance and shine a bright and noticeable light. The motion of the dynamic turn signals also installed runs from the inside outward. This focuses attention on the surroundings when turning and the risk of accidents or misunderstandings can be minimized.
Auto-stop function
- The built-in auto-stop function switches the machine off after 5 minutes without use. This period of time can be adjusted and the operator is notified visually and acoustically before switching off.
- Electrical loads, such as headlights, are also switched off to conserve the machine's battery. Operating costs are reduced, maintenance intervals are extended and resale value increases.
- The resulting reduction in engine running time reduces exhaust emissions/CO2.
Active Sense Control
- The Active Sense Control (ASC) radar system is an innovative object detection system with an optionally selectable braking function, which warns the operator of approaching objects on a display, indicates them and, if necessary, slows the machine down in good time, even to a standstill if necessary (with Stop Assistant selected).
- The machine’s surroundings are scanned in real time for possible obstacles and where required, action is taken. Even trailer operation or tight parking maneuvers have been considered: the system can be switched to blind for a short time so as to not impede the operation.
- Thanks to the intelligent system, it is possible to both load and unload without needing to switch off the machine.
